The One Secret Only YOU Possess

You possess a secret weapon that no competitor can dare compete with.

competition, secret

However, there is a great likelihood that you are not even using it.

It’s YOU!

You may not have the marketing budget, resources, team, experience, or even the reputation of your toughest competitors.

So what? Who cares about them.

People buy from people. Period.

Yes, great marketing, large budgets, and an experienced team can help any salesperson achieve more.

Yet, at the end of day, someone has to say yes to you!

The question is, will they? Better yet, would you buy from you?

It’s time for a self-diagnosis.

Ask yourself and then answer the following questions honestly.

How is your attitude?
What actions are you taking each day to improve?
How do you respond to challenging situations?
Do your prospects believe that you are concerned for their well-being?
Are you bringing real value and solutions to your customers?
How is your communication?
Are you student of your industry?
Do you think outside the box to come up with new ideas?

Your (honest) response to these questions is critical as this is how your prospects and customers perceive you.

Only you can control the answers. The power is in your hands.

Instead of worrying about what others are doing, START doing this:

  • Creating a YES! attitude that no one can resist.
  • Building dynamic relationships.
  • Using your creativity and build knowledge to become a leader in your industry.

You are your own secret weapon.

One of my new year’s resolutions was to find a way to brand myself – market ME to prospects. Since I love owls and wear them often I decided to play upon the question, “Whooo cares about your small business?” – because that’s what I am passionate about insuring and supporting their success. I am developing a brochure that highlights what I do for small businesses, beyond helping them make WISE decisions about their insurance ;-).

I love this idea Tracy. I think we all need our own “trademark” that sets us apart and gives us some identity. Great job.
