Everybody Writes (Wiley, 2014)

If you have a website, you are a publisher.  If you are on social media, you are in marketing. And that means that we are all relying on our words to carry our marketing messages.  We are all writers.

Isn’t writing that important anymore?  Does it really matter with all the click-bait headlines, short attention spans, and visual imagery?

Writing is now more important than ever.  Great insurance agents can use writing to reinforce to their clients who they are or their prospects what they can expect.

As the author Ann Handley states, “Our writing can make us look smart or it can make us look stupid. It can make us seem fun, or warm, or competent, or trustworthy. But it can also make us seem humdrum and discombobulated or flat-out boring.”

In today’s world, the best insurance agents are also the best communicators (offline and online), the best relationship builders, and the best at telling a story that engages their prospects and clients.

If you are looking to create more effective emails, social media updates, proposals, or blog posts, “Everybody Writes” is a book you need consume.
