Have you ever heard the phrase, “you can’t be all things to all people”?
I certainly have, but by my actions have often been more like, “I will be anything anyone wants me to bo at that time even though it probably doesn’t make sense for either party.” In the insurance world, you often hear that agents need to find their niche. I certainly have a few niches that I have worked best with, but I often find myself doing things that are out of my specialty or comfort zone.
Going forward, I am going to focus on a niche that has provided me success and is also a very under utilized and misunderstood insurance product.
That niche is professional and cyber liability.
To help educate and inform my target market of these exposures, I have started a new website strictly devoted to this niche. I have been working with our partner companies, reading, researching, and learning as much as possible to provide comprehensive information on this topic.
The website is, “The Insurance Professional”. If you are a large or small business owner, I guarantee you have some type of professional or cyber liability exposure and most likely you are not protected.
I will be providing risk management tips, discussing insurance protection, and supplying general information on all things professional and cyber liability.
I will remain active on this site as well, but will focus more on discussing marketing ideas, social media, and improving productivity for insurance agencies, individual producers, and businesses in general.
My goal is to be “the expert” when it comes to professional and cyber liability coverage. I hope that you check out my new website or pass on the link for someone who may find the information valuable.
